to
accommodate customer needs: by hosting and supporting shows, events, classes and
contest: and by promoting Monroe as an artist and art lover’s destination.

Why ART?

It’s FUN, helps you de-stress, allows you to make new friends...People who study the
arts are taught to see better, to envision, to persist, to be playful and learn from
mistakes, to make critical judgements and justify such Judgements.
The arts promote the idea that there is more than one solution to a problem, or more
than one answer to a question. People with Increased exposure to the arts have a
greater understanding and appreciation of their culture, history and environment.

RAGS TO RICHES

Saturday August 28th
7pm-9pm
Pawtropolis
130 Whitetail Way
Bogart, GA 30622
706-227-7887

We are excited to announce the date for this year's Rags to Riches event.
This is one of Helping Paws Rescue's biggest fundraising events of the year.
Rose and Paul Handy from Wild Child Art in Monroe help organize this
event. They gather art from various artists throughout Georgia. You can
expect to have pieces such as wood carvings, glass work, photographs,
ceramics, water colors and much more. This is a great opportunity to add
beautiful pieces are artwork to your home while supporting the animals of
Helping Paws Rescue.

Pawtropolis University will be transformed into a beautiful backdrop for the
art. We'll have refreshments for all to enjoy. We are even excited to have live
music at this event. "Spread" will be performing. They play "Jazz, Blues and
Everything in Between." Throughout the evening people place bids on the
silent auction sheets. Warning; it can get quite competitive. Then as 8:45
approaches we count down the final minutes until the winners are announced.
Thanks to the generous donations of the artists every penny goes to
Helping Paws Rescue.

We hope you'll dress up a bit, come enjoy some good food and music and
best of all help the animals in our care. This has also become our yearly
"party" to get to hang out with clients and friends.

No tickets are required. Just show up the night of the event. We hope to see
you!
