CLASSES &WORKSHOPS
Ages 11 and Up
Precious Metal Clay $80 (includes supplies)
October 10th 6pm-8pm
PMC is real silver in clay form that is shaped and fired in
a kiln to make beautiful, original designs. In this class,
you will make custom fine silver pendants and charms
out of PMC that can be used for necklaces, charm
bracelets, and/or earrings. You will learn basic
techniques of designing with clay including adding
texture, rolling, stamping, firing, polishing, and finishing.
Feel free to bring items for inspiration. No previous
experience necessary. Class limited to 6 students.
Beginning Fusing $65 + materials
November 12 6pm-8pm
Learn the basics of beginning fusing using a glass kiln.
Students will make 1 project using a mold. We will cover
basic glass preparation, kiln use, and discuss slumping
and draping. Students will learn to use a circle cutter,
work with glass frit, mosaics, stringers and how to
prepare molds. No experience necessary.
Dichro Dazzlers $65 (includes diachronic glass)
November 19 6pm-8pm
Learn how easy it is to design and fuse your own
diachronic pendants and earrings. Each piece is a
unique expression of you, the artist and creator. Dazzle
your friends with your original creations.
Basic Sewing $20 per class + supplies
2nd and 4th Wednesdays 4pm-6pm
Learn to sew AND learn to sew better! Level 1 students
will learn the basics of working with a pattern, fabric,
and how to operate a sewing machine. Bring your own
sewing machine and operating booklet.
Drawing $20 per class
Mondays 3:00-4:30pm
Explore different techniques. Students will tap into
natural ability and refine talents already enjoyed. Bobby

Ages 8-12 5 students min – 10 students
max $85 for 4 sessions
Thursdays 4:00-6:00pm
Pre-registration required at least 1 week in advance.
Registration cost includes supplies.
Sept 3 to 24: PAINTING – Each week students will
look at a different artist or style of art. It may be
Georgia O'Keeffee , Henry Matisse, Vincent Van
Gogh, Picasso or cubism, abstract or realism. Then
they will try it out themselves using acrylic paint with
brushes and palette knives.
Oct 1 to 22: CARTOONING– Students design and
develop their own characters, ideas and worlds of
their own, using pencils, markers, and paints. This
class explores storytelling with pictures and
caricatures
Oct 29 to Nov 19: DRAWING – Students explore the
basics of drawing by working with pencils and
charcoal. Children will learn about the techniques
and styles of master artists that can be applied to
their own art.
