Becca is concentrating while drawing from a pigs head, a project the Tuesday Drawing and Painting Class has been working on. She is practicing techniques in shading and rendering the pigs muscles and skin to the highest detail possible. The next step in the process will be painting the pig head and exploring the range of color in the pigs skin. This practice of working from a pig will help her as she continues on other projects where she will paint directly from a human model. The flesh tones in pigs skin is very similar to that of a human and by practicing from a pig she will be ready to paint a human with confidence and accuracy!
