PARENTS SHOPPING DAYS IN DECEMBER

Make your life easy, parents! Drop the kids off at Wild Child Arts and get some of your holiday shopping done without the kids! Gift making time for the children. Painting, clay, drawings, etc as well as a story time.

It’s All About Me 

AGES 6 -12 - Everyone is different, interesting and special – this week is all about having fun and celebrating who you  are. We’ll create our own unique self portraits using a variety of materials. Our work promises to be unusual and creative – how do you think you would look with the ocean flowing from the top of your head or your curly locks becoming jungle vines? Younger campers will be creating animal personality portraits by combing traits from three animals that best describe their personality. Older campers will be working with on a painting/collage combining mixed media to create layers of acrylic, paper and fiber. Depending on the direction of the projects older campers may also be using clay, Shrinky Dinks or mosaics as part of their work.

PRINTMAKING CARNIVAL

AGE 6-12 - Join a crazy carnival of printmaking to create one of a kind prints using curious things: buttons, sticks, rollers, carved erasers, foam, and MAYBE FISH. Explore, experiment, and have fun as you create art from almost anything. Please bring in buttons, shells, sticks, stickers, foam and any other interesting item you have at home.
